The area of the entire multiwall sheet construction is 1,890 m². The client opted for Exolon® Multi UV HX/25-32 multiwall polycarbonate sheets in the colour bronze 1850. The most important requirements for the sheets were:
The construction had to be partially translucent, to provide an outdoor feeling even during colder winter days. In order to benefit from low operating costs, the multiwall polycarbonate sheets also had to offer excellent thermal insulation properties.

The Exolon® Multi UV HX/25-32 multiwall sheets have a unique internal structure and, thanks to their low heat transfer coefficient, ensure guaranteed energy savings of more than 30 % compared to standard sheets. The special X-structure causes optimum light transmission and diffusion, which minimises light distortion and ensures pleasant and diffuse light.
Multiwall polycarbonate sheets are 100 times more resistant than glass, as demonstrated by impact tests (ASTM D3763). Polycarbonate roofing sheets are also lighter in weight, which makes them easier to process and transport, resulting in cost savings during the construction process compared to glass structures.
Numerous projects in the construction of stadiums, swimming pools and halls using Exolon Group materials in- and outside Europe have already proven how durable, energy-efficient and architecturally attractive the solutions are.
